Social Programme

The schedule for OxIMUN 2012 is yet to be finalised. Below is the social program for OxIMUN 2011 to give delegates an idea of the weekend. The social program is available to all delegates who purchase a social pack. Please note that at the moment the exact details and times are open to change

Camera Fusion Bar, St Ebbes Street

We begin our conference social programme in style with a late evening wine reception at one of Oxford's newest and most alluring cocktail bars. You will be able to relax and get to know your fellow delegates and the staff in Camera's comfortable, modern surroundings whilst enjoying a complementary glass of wine and Camera's delicious canapés. Why not try our specially-commissioned OxIMUN cocktail?

After the OxIMUN - exclusive wine reception ends, feel free to linger for Camera's club night until 2 am - your entrance to it is free with an OxIMUN social pack! Friday nights at Camera feature drink deals and a lively yet chic atmosphere.

NB The Wine Reception is only open to delegates who are over 18 years of age due to UK licensing laws. All delegates must carry photo identification clearly displaying your date of birth and may be asked to produce this to gain entry into the bar. The Secretariat can accept no responsibility for delegates who fail to bring acceptable ID.

Jesus College Dining Hall, Turl Street

The Committee dinner gives you a chance to relax and socialise with your committee members, directors and staff after a day of fierce debate. This year we return to the ornate Somerville College Dining Hall, as well as the oldest hall of any Oxford or Cambridge College at New College, both of which were beloved by last year-s OxIMUN delegates. Finally, we are excited to have added a third sophisticated location; the wood-paneled hall of Jesus College. All three will provide delegates with a delicious meal in an unforgettable, and uniquely Oxford, setting. Wine is not included in the price of the social pack. Any delegate over the age of 18 is free to order wine as desired but must produce photographic ID upon request in accordance with UK law.

The Bridge, 6-9 Hythe Bridge Street

Delegates over the age of 18 are invited to relax and enjoy one of Oxford's premier clubbing experience. The Bridge boasts an extensive bar and three dance floors providing a diverse selection of music to suit all tastes and requirements. Chill out or let your hair down, the choice is yours. Entrance and queue jump to the club are included in the OxIMUN social pack. Additionally, there will be an OxIMUN-exclusive floor all night long, and one free drink for OxIMUN delegates. Get ready to see the dance moves of your fellow delegates, not to mention the OxIMUN Secretariat...

The Living Room, Oxford Castle

Any delegates who are staying in Oxford on Sunday night are invited to join the staff for leisurely cocktails at our after-party. Savour the opportunity to unwind and chat in the stunning surroundings of Oxford Castle. We think it makes the perfect end to the conference
